The Beginning
THE FOLLOWING IS A TESTIMONIAL WITH WEEKLY BLOGS FROM A JANE&JAYNE PATIENT.
June 22, 2020
Start weight: 209.2
Height: 5’10”
Age: 50, female
Losing weight has been a battle for me for many many years; I have been yo-yo-ing for a long time. I finally decided six years ago to do something drastic to get me healthier. I lost over 100 pounds with gastric sleeve surgery.
Give or take 10 pounds here and there, I have maintained that weight loss but currently am at a plateau, where I feel as if I look good but would feel better if I were to drop another 20-30 pounds. I need a restart for my metabolism. Being 50 years old, as most of you know, losing weight gets harder and harder with every decade.
TIME TO START!
I’ve seen great results with the hcG medical weight loss plan that is under a doctor’s care and here I go. I spent this past weekend “fat loading” and did my first two shots, which was easier than I expected. The fat load was a bit hard for me because of the surgery and my habits of not eating foods like that after losing all of the weight.
I did it and now on day #3 I am starting my new 500 calorie per day plan. I cannot have alcohol during this time, which is great because I wanted to cut down on it anyway. I had found myself drinking a lot more than is typical for me during the COVID quarantine.
This is a win-win for me no matter what, as I will be able to detox myself from sugars/carbs and alcohol.
So far…
So far, today, I feel great. I had my first skinny shot to aid in food cravings and give me more energy, drinking a lot of water (I’ve already had 64oz today and am peeing like a race horse!), and have not felt hungry.
The habit of snacking and eating is something that I will have to get past, but I love having the support of the staff at Jane&Jayne with medical weight loss. That has made me feel supported and grounded in the beginning of my journey. I feel like I can call them with any issues that come up.
Stay tuned!
Day 3! I will keep you updated!
